Internet Sports TV brings only one word to mind WOW!

Ever since I began surfing the web to watch the latest scores of my favorite sports, I used to wonder whether the world wide web will become so fast and efficient someday, that it will enable sports lovers to watch sports online without switching their TV channels. That way sports buffs will not only maintain harmony in their homes, but also utlilize their leisure time more efficiently. Low broadband speeds were the bane of the internet industry for nearly a decade and it is only recently that telecom companies got their act together and began offering 3G and 4G speeds at affordable prices. Cut-throat competition in this sector seems to have played a major role in this phenomenon.

With high broadband speeds now a reality, entertainment portals have begun to offer live-streaming of sports events, making life a lot easier for those who wanted to convert their PCs into entertainment devices. Internet sports TV is the direct consequence of this entire phenomenon and has most certainly become a hit amongst viewers desirous of obtaining the maximum value for their buck. Not only does it offer economy, but also combines several conveniences, because viewers can watch their favourite sports events on the go. By using their hand held devices like mobiles, IPods, PDAs or laptops users can easily watch their favourite sports stars in action and marvel at their performances. Moreover, with these portals offering rewind, playback and live- streaming facilities, viewers will not miss even a second of the thrilling encounters that happen on the sports fields.

Work related stress will become a thing of the past, as these portals will prove to be the best stress busters as more and more viewers begin to watch sports online. These online portals offer users a very high degree of interactivity, something which television cannot match. Not only can users watch sports online, but also participate in live chats with other sports buffs and post their opinions about the shows on these online forums.

So if you feel your favorite sports team hasnt performed quite well, then you can easily share your views on any internet sports TV channel that offers live chat. Some sports channel also offer complimentary access to their database of award winning pictures, which capture some of the most memorable moments that have taken place on the sports field.

The internet and its immensely popular sports TV channels maybe the new kids on the block, but in my opinion, they will surely rule the roost, as television fades into the background.

Watch your favourite sports channel online today, and tell me if you found anything different?

Im sure you willand if you do, then do write back to me on this forum!

How to Keep Smart Devices Alive on Snow Sports

Winter in many places means skiing, ice skating, sledding and snowball fights. When we enjoy these sports fun, there’s nothing better than well-run electronics like iPhone, tablets, reassuring us. There are lots of useful apps to help us drive to a snow-covered terrain with turn-by-turn directions; locate the base of a route by using GPS coordinates; look at the weather forecast; identify local trees, birds, and flowers; take excellent photos and videos; and later share our experience with Facebook buddies or YouTube clips. The smart devices are so important for us everyone, but all that technology comes with a price. We have to ask ourselves: How are we going to keep the device charged when we are outside? How do we check the important calls if our fingers are freezing? How do we keep the snow out of our precious iPhone or iPad. Otterbox: Secure the Phone from Icy Mishaps The first thing to do before taking our mobile device out snow sports is to invest in a sturdy case to protect our phone from breakage and snowstorm. Not only do we get to tote our phones in the snow, but we also protect it from water, dirt, and shock. Otterbox’s Armor Case is a bit pricey at 100 $, but it protects the phone from 10-foot drop onto concrete, can be submerged for 30 minutes in 6.6 feet water, and can withstand up to 2 tons of crushing force. We will never worry about the phone getting damaged with it.

Kinkoo: Keep Our Device Always Powered A research from Infographicsmania.com says, the total time for everyone use electronics is 9 hours a day, and the average smartphone holds 5 hours on the premise of running at full speed while tablet 4 hours. So we must carry a portable charge in our pack so that we can have precious spare for an emergency call when some apps eat up most of power. One of the best and the one I use for my devices is Kinkoo Infinite One Portable Charger. It can work at minus 22? and contains a massive 8000 mAh capacity to recharge my iPhone 5 times. Most of all, it is the lightest and thinnest external battery at only 162g and 11mm in its class. Also, it’s not cheap enough because it uses the best A+ Quality Lithium Polymer battery inside, which charges faster and give a longer shelf life at least 15 months. Beartek: Take Control of the Phone with Snowsport Gloves We wear gloves to protect us. We use smartphone apps to entertain us. If we want to do both and don’t want to switch phones just for a supersensitive touchscreen, we can have a pair of Beartek’s Snowsport gloves. Wear the gloves like we would wear any other gloves and be able to use the smartphone without even taking it out of our pocket! Its finger touch control system lets us answer calls, play/pause and skip music tracks, and capture our ride in video or photos – all while simultaneously providing warmth. In addition, the gloves have premium goatskin leather outer and are windproof and waterproof. They could be one of the cooler ski/winter gadget gifts of the 2013-14 seasons.

Elements Office

Noida-based Archohm Architects play illusionists and transform a small office with focus on 3 fundamentals – space, light and sound…

Challenged to accommodate an 8-people conference room; workstations, a waiting area, pantry, guest toilet; director’s room with attached restroom and storage space in 450sqft of space, the architect firm led by principal architect Sourabh Gupta, have designed around a camouflage principle with an intriguing play of simple elements like overhead planters, glass walls, mirrors, etc.

Clad in white – a colour that opens up the space, the compact office houses pragmatic functions like pantry, fax machine, etc into a customised corian unit, and organizes storage via closed and open compartmentalized niches.

Treatment to the furniture is laudable: the centrally positioned workstations are in fact, a single continuous unit in corian designed for 3 people, with a side bench for visitors. Cork/ tag board partitions divide the workstation table top, doubling up as pin-up boards. Overhead planters visually divide the areas into waiting and working. The all-white materiality is interestingly broken, when one enters the chic conference room and director’s cabin. The company’s product line – leather shoes, are displayed in leather-clad punctures along a quilted leather wall, complemented by a brown carpeted floor. Along similar lines, the director’s cabin sports shades of brown in the carpet tiles, leather sofas, rough and smooth polished dark wood, which makes it an impressive space.

Light, as the second predominant element is catered to via a striking Barasol fabric pendant, general artificial light as well as a balance of natural light; contributing refreshingly to the ambiance of the compact work place.

Sound absorption is taken care of via choice of insulating materials, right from the entrance door to the double-glass screen, quilted backdrops and carpeted flooring. The project stands testimony to the inherent challenges of, and illustrates the phenomenal design and expression of thought-provoking interior design, within constrained spaces

How To Choose The Proper Sports Drink For Cycling

It may appear, from glancing at bottles on store shelves and watching television commercials, that every sports drink is more or less the same. However, any serious athlete knows how important it is to do some research and choose the proper drink for their sport. When cyclists want to feel and perform at their best, there are a few key things that they make sure are included in their athletic beverages.

Most people choose to become cyclists because they truly enjoy it but, for many, it is also a method of staying in great shape. Someone who is concerned with their health should be sure to avoid any drink that contains chemicals or other artificial ingredients. It is very easy to find a sport drink that does not include any of these harmful elements and it will help the athlete feel generally healthier and fit.

Another reason that natural drinks are so popular is that they allow the cyclist to feel light and mobile rather than heavy and weighed down. When a cyclist feels heavy during a ride, they will not only move at a slower pace, but they may actually become ill. Choosing a drink that is made entirely from natural ingredients allows the rider to perform at the best of their ability.

Of course, anyone who wants to make sure that they are as healthy as possible needs to be conscious of how many calories they are consuming each day. It would seem as though drinks for athletes would be as healthy as possible but many of them actually have a very high number of calories. Before choosing a drink, be sure to look over the label very closely and make sure that it is not going to interfere with a healthy weight and lifestyle.

Although some people think that they must sacrifice taste for performance, this is just not true. In fact, all natural drinks have a much more appealing flavor than those that are loaded up with artificial sweeteners and other flavors. Choosing one will help motivate a rider to drink up and get out on their bike.

Choosing the sports drink that will best serve the individual can be difficult, especially for cyclists. However, no matter what the individuals goals are, they will typically perform better with a drink made from natural ingredients. Not only will they feel lighter and healthier as they ride, but the drink will be much more enjoyable to consume.
